Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes what Nash County Busted Mugshots may receive when someone uses the pages, search tools, or contact channels, how that information is used, and when it may be shared. Using the pages means accepting these practices. Government offices and outside services linked from the pages have their own policies.

Information Sent Directly

Search terms

A name, place, or other text entered into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Nash County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.

Messages

Email and contact-form messages are kept so a reply can be made and the issue can be handled. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Technical Data and Cookies

Normal page requests can create technical records such as:

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Browser name and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent
  • Referring page, when supplied
  • Request timestamps

Cookie choices

Cookies may help measure how visitors use the pages. Browser settings can block or delete them, although some features may work differently afterward.

How Information Is Used

Collected information may be used to keep the pages available, send search requests to the correct partner, understand which content is useful, find technical faults, and show advertising that may relate to a visitor’s interests. The site follows a best-effort approach to limit collection to these operating needs.

Outside Links and Services

The pages link to the Nash County Sheriff’s Office, detention facility, North Carolina courts, the state corrections department, federal locators, city police resources, local news, and private search tools. Once a visitor leaves these pages, the destination’s privacy notice and terms control the data handled there. A link does not mean that Nash County Busted Mugshots controls that service.

Some advertising partners can track activity across different sites on their own systems to help deliver interest-based ads. That activity is governed by the partner’s policies, not by this page.

Who May Receive Data

Personal information is not sold by Nash County Busted Mugshots. It may be available to the following parties when needed for the stated purposes or required by law:

  • Search partners that handle submitted queries
  • Analytics providers measuring page use
  • Advertising networks
  • Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order

Security Limits

Reasonable, standard safeguards are used, but no internet-connected system is completely secure. Nash County Busted Mugshots cannot promise that data will never be exposed, lost, or accessed without permission.

Visitors Under 18

The pages are intended for adults. They are not designed to knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a minor sent personal data, a parent or guardian may contact the organization to request deletion.

Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law and practical limits, a person may ask to:

  • Receive a copy of personal data held
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Request deletion
  • Opt out of certain processing

Requests can be sent through Get in Touch. North Carolina public-record material held by Nash County agencies is governed by the originating office and applicable law, including G.S. 132-1, not by this private reference page.
